E-Poster Preparation

Guidelines & Rules

Posters are a platform for researchers to engage in dialogue with their peers. Alongside the abstract, they should provide enough detail for readers to clearly understand the research in its entirety. Readability is essential — avoid colour conflicts (e.g. red text on a green or yellow background).

Checklist

Important tips for making your e-poster

Follow these rules closely — text size and typeface must strictly adhere to the guidelines. Colours and design elements are flexible, as long as readability is preserved.

  • Submit your e-poster through the platform midiadesk.com.br/sbfte2026 by September 30, 2026.

  • Only e-posters are accepted. Be sure to submit electronically — there is no space to hold printed posters.

  • The e-poster must be written in English, while the presentation itself is in Portuguese.

  • Use a full-width heading that includes the title, authors, and institutional affiliations.

  • The title must match the one submitted in the abstract and be legible from 3 metres away. Authors and affiliations use the same font in a smaller size, and the presenting author's name is underlined.

  • Institutional logos may be incorporated into the poster design.

  • The background must be a solid colour, with no patterns or images, to maintain clarity.

  • Distribute content across the four pages following the official template. The page sequence and predefined organisation must be maintained.

  • Make extensive use of diagrams, flowcharts and figures — up to 6 figures and 2 tables. Static images and graphs are permitted.

  • Avoid excess text. Approval by the Human or Animal Research Ethics Committee must be included, where applicable.
